NY Musical Theatre Fest There's No Business like "The Business of Show"; NYMF Seminar Set for Sept. 28 "The Business of Show," the final seminar to be presented by the 2006 New York Musical Theatre Festival, will take place Sept. 28 at 6 PM at the Theatre at St. Clements, 423 West 46th Street.

The panelists will include Kris Stewart, NYMF founder and executive director; Beth Blickers, an agent at Abrams Artists Agency; Jeff Marx, co-writer of Avenue Q; David Spencer; a BMI professor; Jon Kimbell, North Shore Music Theatre's artistic director and executive producer; Jonathan C. Herzog, an entertainment lawyer; and Adam Epstein, Broadway producer of Hairspray and The Wedding Singer.

"Think writing your musical is a challenge? How do you craft a career that allows you to flex your creative muscles again and again? And earn recognition and a living from your work? The panel will reveal insider tips and strategies for building support for your work, getting your musicals produced, finding an agent, and building a track record that gets you noticed."
