Playbill Goes Fringe TheSpaceUK Announces Additional 150 Edinburgh Fringe Shows

TheSpaceUK, one of the Edinburgh Fringe's largest venue operators, has announced an additional 150 shows for its August docket. 

The venue operator hosts the largest program at the Fringe, including both professional and amateur work. TheSpaceUK operates 19 theatres in six venues, including theSpace@Surgeon’s Hall, theSpace@Symposium Hall, theSpace on the Mile, theSpaceTriplex, theSpace @ Niddry St., and the Space@Venue45.

In the theatre arena, their 2024 program will include David Hare's Israel-Palestine drama Via Dolorosa newly adapted by Chasing Rainbows, 2023 Fringe First winners Xhloe Rice and Natasha Roland returning with their show What If They Ate The Baby?, and Bouncers & Shakers by Paperlight Theatre.

Comedies Cabin Fever by Fresh !nk Theatre Company and Bucket List by Show Don't Tell Productions will also be on the docket, in addition to Three Bed (No Living Room) by Laldie Theatre, and the feminist retelling of the Pygmalion and Galatea Malion by Tired Horses Theatre.

A handful of new musicals will be on offer as well, including The Gardening Club: A New Musical by Wright and McRitchie, which follows six girls who start an illegal drug ring to distribute birth control pills, and a musical exploring the love and ambition of Wallis Simpson entitled Wallis.
