News This Is Our Youth Announces Rush Policy; Previews Will Begin Aug. 18 A $35 rush ticket policy will be launched Aug. 18 for Steppenwolf’s production of Kenneth Lonergan’s This Is Our Youth - which will begin previews that date at the Cort Theatre (138 W. 48 Street).

Anna D. Shapiro directs the comedy which stars Michael Cera, Kieran Culkin and Tavi Gevinson. Original music is provided by Rostam Batmanglij.

The rush policy follows:  "A limited number of rush tickets, for theatregoers aged 30 and under, will be available the day of the performance at the box office of the Cort Theatre. The $35 rush tickets will be limited to 2 per person with valid photo ID, available during box office hours."

Here's how This Is Our Youth is billed: "Set in New York in 1982, This Is Our Youth follows forty-eight hours in the lives of three very lost young souls: Warren (Cera), a dejected nineteen year old who has just stolen $15,000 from his abusive, tycoon father; Dennis (Culkin), his charismatic drug-dealing friend who helps Warren put the stolen money to good use; and Jessica (Gevinson), the anxiously insightful young woman who Warren yearns for. Funny, painful and compassionate, This Is Our Youth is a living snapshot of the moment when many young people go out into the world on their own."

This Is Our Youth opens on Thursday, September 11 following an acclaimed sold-out run at Chicago's Steppenwolf Theater.

The production has scenic design by Todd Rosenthal, costume design by Ann Roth, lighting design by Brian MacDevitt, and sound design by Rob Milburn and Michael Bodeen. For more information visit thisisouryouthbroadway.com.
