Airing Sunday, June 22 at 12 noon, the news program leads into a full broadcast of Puccini's popular triple-header. Up first is Il Tabarro, the dark tale of Parisian laborers and a tragic, adulterous affair. In Suor Angelica, a young nun finds salvation despite the efforts of her tormenting aunt. The broadcast concludes with Gianni Schicchi, the comic story of a lovable scoundrel who saves his daughter's upcoming marriage and ends up the richest man in town.

SundayArts News will kick off with a visit to Scandinavia House for a report on its From Another Shore: Recent Icelandic Art exhibit, followed by a look at Ballet Biarritz at the Joyce Theater and two other exhibitions‹Buckminster Fuller: Starting with the Universe at the Whitney Museum of American Art and Vietnam: A War Memorial, the film/video installation currently running at the Asia Society and Museum.

The SundayArts Profile segment will focus on the work of Ballet Hispanico. In this week's SundayArts "Choice," curators Roxana Marcoci and Klaus Biesenbach explore Take Your Time, an exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art featuring works by Olafur Eliasson, whose latest site-specific piece, Waterfalls, will be installed in New York Harbor next week.
