Also in the cast of the 1630 play, about an incestuous love affair between Giovanni and his sister Annabella and its violent repercussions, are Craig Braun, Mel Cobb, Craig Baldwin, Rachel Black (as Annabella), Colby Chambers (as Giovanni), Sam Chase, Michael Chernus, Mauricio Tafur Salgado, and Betsy Winchester. Alex Lippard directs. Cooper is quite familiar with his role of Donado; he played the part in the 1992 Public Theater production of the play, which starred Val Kilmer and Jeanne Tripplehorn. He will also play the Friar. Thompson recently acted with Denzel Washington in Broadway's Julius Caesar. Curtain was Janis Joplin in the Off-Broadway musial Love, Janis. Harding has appeared in dozens of Off-Broadway productions, including Victor, Killer Joe, Defying Gravity, Murder of Crows and several works by Richard Foreman. Harding won an Obie Award for Mac Wellman's Sincerity Forever.
