News Three Broadway Shows Hit Milestones Next Week Through a numerical quirk, three Broadway shows will hit coincidental milestones during the week of Feb. 14.

School of Rock, which opened Dec. 6, 2015, plays its 80th performance at the Feb. 14 matinee.

First Look at Alex Brightman, Sierra Boggess and The Cast of School of Rock

Aladdin, which opened in 2014, plays its 800th performance Feb. 16.

The Tony-winning 1996 revival of Chicago plays its 8,000th performance at the Feb. 20 matinee.

Among other shows reaching milestones:

Wicked plays its 5,124th performance at the Feb. 14 matinee, surpassing the original run of Rent. Wicked will become the 10th longest running show in Broadway history.

Also this weekend, Kinky Boots will play its 1,201st performance, passing the original run of Guys and Dolls.

Beautiful: The Carole King Musical will play its 874th performance, topping the original run of Camelot.

Lastly, on Feb. 8, The Fantasticks played the 3,838th performance of its 2006 revival. Added to the 17,162 performances of the record-holding original run, that brings the show's cumulative total to 21,000 performances in New York.
