Classic Arts News Three Veteran Musicians Retire From St. Louis Symphony Three longtime St. Louis Symphony musicians retired after the SLSO's season finale on May 1, the orchestra announced.
Second trombonist Roger Davenport is ending his tenure after 41 years with the orchestra; English hornist Marc Gordon, after 33 years; and principal cellist John Sant'Ambrogio, after 37 years.

The SLSO has held auditions for the positions and will announce replacements for the three men soon.
