News Through the Looking Glass: Adult Musical Comedy, Alice in Wonderland, Begins Jan. 12 From the mind of the screenwriter who gave film audiences "Flesh Gordon" and "Night Patrol" comes a stage adaptation of his musical comedy, Alice in Wonderland, making its Off-Broadway premiere at the Kirk Theatre, Jan. 12.

William Osco pens the stage version of his film which takes a more adult take on Lewis Carroll's famous tale. (Warning: The production is for mature audiences only as it "contains full nudity.")

Alice in Wonderland follows the sexual awakening of a young woman who lives in a trailer park and escapes her boyfriend's advances and mother's drunken rants when she discovers a new world.

The production officially opens at the Kirk Theatre in Theatre Row Jan. 29.

The cast of Alice in Wonderland features Epiphany, Jeremy Ebenstein, Nathan Freeman, Ashlee Rose Gaughan, Jamie Greco, Kris Kloss, Cynthia Polakovich, Marthia Sides, Danielle Stephens and Travis Wojcik.

Osco direct his own work which features an original score by Taywah. Tania L Pearson handles choreography. The design team includes by Josh Iacovelli (set), Chris Hudacs (lighting) and Laura Frecon (costume).
