News Tickets for Broadway's Bengal Tiger, Starring Robin Williams, Now on Sale Tickets to Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, the new American play by Rajiv Joseph and starring Robin Williams in his Broadway acting debut, go on sale to the general public starting Nov. 17.

Tickets can be reserved by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 or visiting www.ticketmaster.com or www.bengaltigeronbroadway.com. Tickets are also available at the Richard Rodgers Theatre box office Mondays through Saturdays from 10 AM to 8:30 PM and Sundays from noon to 6.

The play, directed by Moisés Kaufman, will begin previews on Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 W. 46th St.) on March 11, 2011, prior to its official opening night of March 31.

Williams plays the narrating title character in what's billed as a "ferocious comedy that follows the intertwined lives of a tiger, two American marines and an Iraqi gardener as they roam the streets of Baghdad in search of friendship, redemption and a toilet seat made of gold."

Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo is produced on Broadway by Robyn Goodman, Kevin McCollum, Jeffrey Seller and Center Theatre Group. The play was a finalist for the 2010 Pulitzer Prize.

Additional casting will be announced. Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo will perform Tuesdays at 7 PM, Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8 PM, with matinees on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 2 PM and Sundays at 3 PM at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 W. 46 Street).
