News Tickets for MCC's Carrie and Wild Animals You Should Know Go On Sale Oct. 3 Off-Broadway tickets for the MCC Theater revival of the cult musical Carrie and the world premiere of Wild Animals You Should Know will go on sale to the general public Oct. 3.

Tony Award winner Alice Ripley (Next to Normal) and Patrick Breen (The Normal Heart) will co-star in Thomas Higgins' Wild Animals You Should Know, about two teen boys in a charged game of cat and mouse. Performances are scheduled for Nov. 3-Dec. 11 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre under the direction of Trip Cullman.

The cast also features John Behlmann (The 39 Steps), Gideon Glick (Spring Awakening, Spider-Man), Jay Armstrong Johnson (8, Hair) and Daniel Stewart Sherman (A Streetcar Named Desire at Williamstown).

Beginning Jan. 31, 2012, MCC Theater will reveal a reworked production of the short-lived Broadway musical Carrie based on the Stephen King novel about an ostracized teen with telekinetic powers.

Molly Ranson (Jerusalem, August: Osage County) and Tony Award nominee Marin Mazzie (Passion, Ragtime, Next to Normal) will star as Carrie and Margaret White, respectively.

Bookwriter Lawrence D. Cohen (who penned the original screenplay), composer Michael Gore and lyricist Dean Pitchford have been re-working the musical, which will be directed by Stafford Arima (Altar Boyz, Tin Pan Alley Rag) at the Lortel. Single tickets will be priced at $65 (Wild Animals…) and $75 (Carrie). Two-show subscriptions will be available for $99. Visit mcctheater.org.

MCC Theater currently presents the world premiere of Jeff Talbott's The Submission, starring Tony nominee Jonathan Groff, Rutina Wesley, Eddie Kay Thomas and Will Rogers, through Oct. 22.
