According to the York, “You’re invited to partake in a Musical Party with such guests as George Gershwin, Claude Debussy, the fiery Ernesto Lecuona, American adventurer Louis Moreau Gottschalk, and Johann Strauss (the 'Waltz King'), among others. In the course of the event, you’ll meet these fascinating people--all of whom have something to say, and do so through music. Your pianist and host, raconteur Evans Haile, will spin stories and observations that you will find both compelling and funny. He brings a delightfully skewed sense of humor and observational skills to the proceedings.” Haile is the artistic director of The Cape Playhouse and currently serves as producing artistic director of North Shore Music Theatre. He has toured the world as a guest conductor in Russia (Moscow and St. Petersburg Philharmonic), Europe (Orchestra of the Deutsche Opera), Asia, Australia, and has been a regular guest with the Boston Pops.
