Lyricist Tim Rice will be a guest on the April 6 edition of "Theater Talk," the popular PBS show devoted to the world of the stage, hosted by Michael Riedel of The New York Post and Susan Haskins.

If you judge by volume, Rice is currently the leading lyricist on Broadway. In addition to the recently opened Aida and the in-previews Jesus Christ Superstar, Rice's The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast continue to run on the Great White Way, making for a total of four musicals by the writer.

The show airs April 6 at midnight, and will re-air on MetroArts Thirteen, Saturday, at 10 PM (check local Cablevision listings for time and channel); and Friday at 12:30 AM in Boston on WGBH. (Check local listings.)
