Reaping the benefits of a Tony bonanza (five wins in all five categories in which it was nominated), the Titanic box office saw its first line down 46th Street the morning of June 2. By the end of that day, the box office had "wrapped" $355,924, by far the largest one-day take for the show, according to production spokesman Adrian Bryan-Brown, though not a Broadway record.

The highest previous one-day sale was $102,000, with a typical previous Monday for the show seeing about $80,000 in sales.

Titanic took Best Musical honors, plus medallions for best orchestration, book, score and scenic design.

Titanic plays at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on West 46th St. For tickets call (212) 307-4100.
