Additional performances have been added 9 PM Feb. 1 and 6:30 PM Feb. 22, due to demand.

The collaborators have collected a number of songs over the years, some heard at the professional Barn Theatre in Augusta, MI, where Burkell was a favorite summer-season actor and Loesel was music director for several years.

Their musical, Six of One, had a reading in New York in fall 1998 with Ragtime's Marin Mazzie and others. It is still in development, according to Loesel, who said a demo was recorded in late 1998.

"Love Songs and Other Crap" will include some material from the musical but will mostly offer stand-alone pieces suitable for cabaret, Loesel said.

Loesel will play piano, Burkell will sing. Their previous date at Don't Tell Mama was a sell-out, Jan. 11. Tickets are $10 with a two drink minimum. Don't Tell Mama, one of the city's cabaret institutions, is at 343 W. 46th St. Call (212) 757-0788.
