Tituss Burgess as "D'fwan"

Burgess told Playbill.com, "I play D'fwan, Angie's [played by Sherri Shepherd] hairdresser and sidekick. I first appeared a few weeks ago and got a call that they'd expanded the character. I'm not certain how many more episodes they are writing. I just know that 'Queen of Jordan' [the reality TV show within '30 Rock'] will go on until Tracy [Morgan] comes home from Africa!"

The singing actor added, "D'fwan is too much fun..I have creative license to be as weird and as quirky as I want. I have Tina [Fey]'s blessing."

Burgess' Broadway credits include the original casts of The Little Mermaid (Sebastian), Jersey Boys (Hal Miller), Good Vibrations (Eddie) and the recent Broadway revival of Guys and Dolls (Nicely-Nicely Johnson).

"30 Rock" airs Thursday evenings at 10 PM ET on NBC.
