News Tituss Burgess Will Host Beautiful Music Benefit in Astoria Broadway's Tituss Burgess (The Little Mermaid, Guys and Dolls) will host the March 24 Beautiful Music gala benefit for the Astoria Performing Arts Center, honoring Kaufman Astoria Studios president Hal Rosenbluth.

The 10th anniversary gala celebration will celebrate APAC's previous productions, with songs from Children of Eden, Ragtime, Triumph of Love, A New Brain, Forever Plaid, Lucky Stiff, Is There Life After High School?, Nunsense and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. The evening will conclude with the song "Beautiful Music," from their upcoming production of The Human Comedy.

APAC artistic director Tom Wojtunik will direct the 6 PM event, to be held at Cienna in Astoria, which will have musical direction by Jeffrey Campos.

Scheduled to perform are APAC alumni Erika Amato (Triumph of Love), Stacie Bono (Children of Eden, Ragtime), Philip Deyesso (Children of Eden, Triumph of Love), Jonathan Gregg (Children of Eden, Ragtime), D. William Hughes (Ragtime), Shad Olsen (Children of Eden, A New Brain, Forever Plaid), Amanda Ryan Paige (Lucky Stiff) and Erin Michelle Washington (Children of Eden).

The event will begin at 6 PM with cocktails and a light supper, followed by the performance at 7:30 PM, with dessert to follow.
