The cast will be headed by four-time Tony Award nominee Kelli O’Hara and stage and screen star Steven Pasquale.
The musical features music and lyrics by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown and a book by Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winner Marsha Norman. It will be directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher, who reunites with his celebrated Tony Award-winning South Pacific design team, including scenic designer Michael Yeargan, costume designer Catherine Zuber and lighting designer Donald Holder. Sound design is by Jon Weston.
The Bridges of Madison County, according to press notes, is "the story about a devoted Iowa housewife and her unlikely love affair with a National Geographic photographer has inspired some of the theater's most distinguished artists to create a new Broadway musical."
