The Royal Shakespeare Company productions recently extended their acclaimed London repertory run through Oct. 4. Mike Poulton adapted the double-bill for the stage.

The productions are directed by Jeremy Herrin and will begin previews March 20, 2015, towards an April 9 opening night.

Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel, Playful Productions UK’s Matthew Byam Shaw, Nia Janis & Nick Salmon, and the Shubert Organization produce the Broadway run of the theatrical event, which will be billed as Wolf Hall, Parts 1 and 2 for American audiences.

Original London stars Ben Miles (Thomas Cromwell), Lydia Leonard (Anne Boleyn) and Nathaniel Parker (King Henry VIII) will repeat their performances in the Broadway production alongside fellow RSC members.

The plays premiered at Stratford-upon-Avon's Swan Theatre in January and transferred to the West End's Aldwych in May. The two plays tell the compelling story of Thomas Cromwell’s rise from blacksmith’s boy to Henry VIII’s chief fixer and deliverer of the King’s chosen bedfellows.

The productions have sets and costumes by Christopher Oram. Lighting for Wolf Hall is by Paule Constable, with lighting for Bring Up the Bodies by David Plater. Music is by Stephen Warbeck, with sound by Nick Powell, movement by Siân Williams and fights by Bret Yount.
