Roxane Carrasco, whose Broadway credits include the role of Velma Kelly in Chicago, will star as Anita in the production, which will play the Massachusetts theatre through Nov. 3. Barry Ivan directs and choreographs. The rest of the principal casting of the Arthur Laurents-Leonard Bernstein-Stephen Sondheim musical includes Elena Shaddow (Maria), Ryan Silverman (Tony), Enrique Acevedo (Bernardo), Jonathan Cazull (Chino), David Larsen (Riff), Timothy Quinlan (Action), Michael McGurk (Baby John), Jeff Lewis (Big Deal), DJ Chase (Arab), Tim McGarrigal (Snowboy), Kevin Steele (Diesel), Kathy Meyer (Anybody's), Greg Wood (Lt. Shrank), Bruce Robert Serafin (Officer Krupke), David Coffee (Doc) and Keith Remon (Gladhand). The company comprises Wilson Mendietta, Jason Babinsky, Vincent Zamora, Oscar Campisi, Peter King-Yuen, Vonnie Roemer, Jessica Lee Patty, Jacqueline Minerva, Michelle Scarpa, Kathy Nejat, Brittany Marcin, Kimberly Wolff, Lauren Wagner, Pamela Otterson, Melinda Hall and Lori Barber.

The creative team for West Side Story includes Jack Mehler (scenic designer), Dale Rieling (music director), Kirk Bookman (lighting designer), Jay Woods (costume designer) and Gerard Kelly (wig designer).

West Side Story debuted on Broadway at the Winter Garden Theatre in Sept. 1957. It played 732 performances before closing June 27. 1959. Conceived, directed and choreographed by Jerome Robbins, the original cast included Larry Kert as Tony, Carol Lawrence as Maria and Chita Rivera as Anita. The classic Leonard Bernstein-Stephen Sondheim score boasts such tunes as "Tonight," "America," "Maria," "I Feel Pretty" and "Somewhere."
