Spokespersons reached Jan. 19 said they could not confirm the exact date, however they say it's likely to be that date, since the ceremony nearly always takes place on the first Sunday in June.

The program is produced jointly by the American Theatre Wing and the League of American Theatres and Producers.

Additional information, including venue, will be posted as it becomes available.

Last year's Tony winners included Copenhagen (play), Contact (musical), The Real Thing (play revival) and Kiss Me, Kate (musical revival).
