Tony Awards Tony Awards for Orchestrations and Design to Be Presented Before CBS Broadcast Six of the 2003 Tony Awards will be presented prior to the live CBS telecast June 8, which begins at 8 PM. The awards for Best Orchestrations and Best Design (Scenic, Costume and Lighting) as well as the Special Tony Awards for Regional Theatre and Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre will be presented in the 45-minute pre-show viewable exclusively via the TonyAwards.com webcast.

"Highlights of the competitive awards [Orchestrations and Design] — including the acceptance speeches— will be incorporated into the telecast," according to the official Tony Awards website. Broadway devotees can log on to www.tonyawards.com as early as 6 PM to view coverage of the event live from the Radio City red carpet.

This year's annual Regional Theatre Award will go to Minneapolis, Minnesota's The Children's Theatre Company. The Lifetime Achievement honor will be presented to veteran producer-director Cy Feuer.

The 2003 Tony Awards will be aired on CBS-TV from 8-11 PM ET on Sunday, June 8. Broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall, the evening will feature stage and screen actor Hugh Jackman as host. Check in to Playbill On-Line's Tony Awards section on Tony night for updates.
