Those interested in viewing the presentation of those awards can do so via the Tony Awards website at www.TonyAwards.com. Excerpts from the pre-Tony telecast will be presented during the CBS broadcast. Last season, awards in six categories were presented prior to the actual broadcast. Those categories included Best Orchestrations, Best Design (Scenic, Costume and Lighting) as well as the Special Tony Awards for Regional Theatre and Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre.
The 2004 Tony Awards will be aired on CBS-TV from 8-11 PM ET on Sunday, June 6. Broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall, the evening will feature stage and screen actor Hugh Jackman — a current Tony nominee for his performance in The Boy From Oz — as host.
