Tony Awards Tony Awards Official Website to Launch May 8 The official website of The Tony Awards will relaunch May 8 with a new web address.

Featuring a new look and improved features, The Tony Awards website will be located on the internet at www.TonyAwards.com. Designed, developed and hosted by IBM — the official partner of the Tonys — the website will feature Tony memories by Chita Rivera, Harold Prince, Barbara Cook and Ben Vereen; exclusive broadcast of the Tonys pre-show; a virtual red carpet outside the Tony Awards ceremony June 8; a Tony shop, featuring Tony souvenirs like the Tony poster and the Tony Playbill; the historical Tony Awards database; and many more features. Playbill On-Line will also contribute news and features content to the site. Tony Awards Managing Producer Elizabeth I. McCann said in a statement, “TonyAwards.com is an invaluable tool for both industry insiders, as well as fans around the world. Entertaining and informative, one can visit the site for Tony trivia, history of past winners and nominees, materials and exclusive photos. Every year, this site provides visitors with access to more of our exclusive insider events, including the nominations announcement from Sardi’s."

The Tony Awards, which will be broadcast from 8-11 PM ET on CBS-TV, are presented by Tony Award Productions, a joint venture between The League of American Theatres and Producers and the American Theatre Wing.
