News Tony Awards to Return to Radio City Music Hall The 61st Annual Antoinette Perry "Tony" Awards — saluting the best of the Broadway theatre season — will, once again, be held at Radio City Music Hall.

A spokesperson for the Tonys confirmed to Playbill.com that the June 10, 2007, awards will be presented at the famed New York theatre on Sixth Avenue. As previously reported, nominations for the 2007 Tony Awards will be announced May 15, 2007. The cut-off date for eligibility for the 2006-2007 theatre season is May 9.

Tony Honors for Excellence in Theatre will be awarded Oct. 24 at Tavern on the Green. The Tony Honors, according to a press statement, "recognize contributions to the field of theatre for individuals and organizations that are not eligible in any of the established Tony categories." This year's honorees include the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop, Forbidden Broadway and its creator Gerard Alessandrini, Samuel (Biff) Liff and Ellen Stewart.
