According to the Hollywood Reporter, Harris (Assassins, Proof, "How I Met Your Mother") will star opposite Bonnie Somerville in the Josh Shelov film "The Best and the Brightest." The actors will play two parents who relocate to the Upper East Side of Manhattan and navigate the competitive world of private kindergartens. The film will also feature Amy Sedaris, John Hodgman, Peter Serafinowicz, Bridget Regan, Kate Mulgrew and Christopher McDonald. "Best and the Brightest" is currently filming in Philadelphia.
The second project is a screen adaptation of Alex Finn's contemporary retelling of "Beauty and the Beast," entitled "Beastly." Harris will play a blind tutor whose young pupil struggles with his own disfigurement. Also announced for the cast are Vanessa Hudgens and Mary-Kate Olsen. Daniel Barnz will direct.
