News Tony Kushner and Stephen Sondheim to Discuss "Look, I Made a Hat" for Public Forum Stephen Sondheim and Tony Kushner will reunite for a Jan. 17, 2012, discussion at the Skirball Center as part of the Public Theater's Public Forum series.

Sondheim (Sweeney Todd, Follies, Sunday in the Park With George) and Kushner (Angels in America, The Intelligent Homosexual's Guide…), both Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning theatre makers, will be joined by Rocco Landesman for the latest chat that will focus on Sondheim's second installment of his memoir and lyric anthology, "Look, I Made a Hat," which is due out Nov. 22.

The two giants of American theatre previously took the Skirball stage last season to discuss the publication of Sondheim's "Finishing the Hat."

Additional events, which will take place at the Public, are “Users or Used: Is Our Technological Future Locked Down and Less Free?” with The Agony and The Ecstasy of Steve Jobs monologist Mike Daisey and Dan Lyons (Oct. 23); and “Does Culture Make Us Who We Are?," which coincides with the Public production of King Lear (Nov. 21). It will include David Brooks, Dr. Mary Schmidt Campell, Damian Woetzel and Public Theater artistic director Oskar Eustis.

Tickets for "Sondheim/Kushner" will go on sale in late November. Tickets for "Users or Used?" are now on sale and "Does Culture Make Us Who We Are" will go on sale Oct. 24.
