News Tony-Nominated Revival of Annie Will Launch U.S. National Tour in 2014-15 Season The Tony Award-nominated Best Musical Revival Annie will launch a U.S. national tour in the 2014-15 season, producers Troika Entertainment announced June 7.

The new production of the classic Tony Award-winning musical opened Nov. 8, 2012, at the Palace Theatre under the direction of three-time Tony Award winner James Lapine with choreography by Tony Award winner Andy Blankenbuehler.

Annie features a book by Thomas Meehan, music by Charles Strouse and lyrics by Martin Charnin, with all three authors receiving 1977 Tony Awards for their work.

The Broadway production currently stars Jane Lynch as Miss Hannigan, Anthony Warlow as Daddy Warbucks and Lilla Crawford as Annie with Brynn O'Malley as Grace Farrell, Clarke Thorell as Rooster Hannigan and J. Elaine Marcos as Lily St. Regis.

Completing the cast are Madi Rae DiPietro as July, Georgi James as Pepper, Junah Jang as Tessie, Tyrah Skye Odoms as Kate, Taylor Richardson as Duffy, Emily Rosenfeld as Molly, Brooklyn Shuck, Sadie Sink, Jaidyn Young, Ashley Blanchet, Jane Blass, Mary Callanan, Jeremy Davis, Fred Inkley, Merwin Foard, Joel Hatch, Danette Holden, Amanda Lea LaVergne, Desi Oakley, Keven Quillon, David Rossetti, Sarah Solie, Dennis Stowe, Ryan VanDenBoom and Matt Wall.

The digital recording of the 2012 Broadway cast of Annie can be purchased at iTunes, Amazon.com and other digital websites. The CD is currently available for purchase at the Palace Theatre and will be released to national retail outlets June 18. The original production of Annie opened April 21, 1977, at the Alvin Theatre and won the New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Musical, seven Drama Desk Awards, the Grammy for Best Cast Show Album and seven Tony Awards.

The creative team includes scenic designer David Korins, costume designer Susan Hilferty, lighting designer Donald Holder, sound designer Brian Ronan, projection designer Wendall K. Harrington and music director Todd Ellison. Orchestrations are by Michael Starobin, and dance music arrangements are by Alex Lacamoire. The musical coordinator is Patrick Vaccariello, and hair and wig design is by Tom Watson. Animal training is by William Berloni.
