News Tony Nominee Bologna to Return to Broadway's Billy Elliot David Bologna, who received a 2009 Tony nomination for his performance as Michael in the Tony-winning musical Billy Elliot, will return to that role June 16 for a limited engagement.

Bologna will play the role of Billy's best friend through Aug. 8 at the Imperial Theatre.

Billy Elliot, the tale of a working class community and a boy who wanted to be a ballet dancer, features music by Elton John, book and lyrics by Lee Hall, choreographed by Peter Darling and direction by Stephen Daldry. It won the Tony Award for Best Musical.

Broadway performances continue at the Imperial Theatre on West 45th Street. A national tour just launched in Chicago.
