Entitled "A Mother's Wish (For Christmas Day)," the song, which is available for purchase on iTunes, was originally intended for Alan's third studio release, "What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up." The song tells the story of a mother's wish for her son's safe return, from his services in the war, on Christmas day.

The song was arranged and orchestrated by Jamey Ray and Jesse Vargas and features a full string section.

Scott Alan's newest recording, "What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up," is available on CDbaby.com, Amazon.com and iTunes. "What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up" follows Alan's earlier studio recordings, "Dreaming Wide Awake" and "Keys." His new musical Home is aiming for Broadway in 2012.

Christiane Noll, who received a Tony nomination for her performance in the revival of Ragtime, made her Broadway debut as Emma Carew in Frank Wildhorn's Jekyll & Hyde. She later joined the Broadway company of It Ain't Nothin' But the Blues and starred in the City Center Encores! production of The New Moon. Noll appeared in the national tours of Urinetown, Grease!, Miss Saigon and City of Angels, and she has recorded several solo albums: "Christiane Noll — A Broadway Love Story" (Varese Sarabande Records), "Live at the Westbank Café," (Car-Jam Records) and "The Ira Gershwin Album" (Fynsworth Alley). The singing actress was also seen in the American premiere of The Witches of Eastwick and the Off-Broadway musical Frankenstein.
