The stage and screen favorite, last seen on Broadway in The Color Purple and Off-Broadway in Much Ado About Nothing, wore two separate dresses on the special day. The first is a look by Christian Siriano and the second is by Black designer Oluwagbemisola Okunlola.
“It was very important to me to find a Black wedding dress designer. When I tell you I hit jackpot finding @alonuko_bespoke, I hit jackpot," Brooks said on Instagram.
