News Tony Nominee Dee Hoty Among Artists Set for Free Broadway's Future Concert Broadway's Future Songbook Series — presented by Arts and Artists at St. Paul — will continue Jan. 28 in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center.

Directed, hosted and produced by John Znidarsic, the free evening will showcase the songs of Becca Anderson, Julian Blackmore and Dan Marshall, including selections from their new musical, Academia Nuts! Show time is 6 PM.

Performers will include Tony nominee Dee Hoty, Jennifer Noble, Charissa Bertels, Catherine Jones, Rod Lawrence, James LaRosa, Sean Patterson, Raja Burrows and Cathy Prince.

Academia Nuts, according to press notes, is about "uber-dorky homeschooler, Maggie McCutter who vies for a life-changing scholarship that will free her from the clutches of her crazy, controlling Mother. Set in the heady world of the National Quizbowl Championship, this nerd-rock musical tells the story of a gaggle of geeks willing to do anything it takes to win."

The evening will also feature music direction by Mike Pettry with Zack Eldridge on percussion.

The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts' Bruno Walter Auditorium is located at 111 Amsterdam Avenue and 65th Street.
