News Tony Nominee Laura Linney Honored at AFI Festival The 2007 American Film Institute will salute Oscar nominees Laura Linney and Catherine Deneuve during its upcoming November festival.

Variety reports that Linney, a two-time Tony Award nominee for her work in Sight Unseen and The Crucible, will be honored prior to the Nov. 9 screening of her latest film "The Savages," in which she co-stars with Tony nominee and Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Fellow Academy Award nominee Catherine Deneuve, who lends her voice to the animated feature "Persepolis," will be honored preceding the Nov. 10 debut of her film.

Upcoming Cyrano star Jennifer Garner will be represented in the film "Juno," starring alongside Allison Janney, Jason Bateman and Michael Cera. In addition, Meryl Streep will see the North American premiere of her film "Lions for Lambs" take place at the festival. Robert Redford, who co-stars with Streep and Tom Cruise, also directs the film.

Thirty-seven countries are represented in the 27th annual AFI Fest, which will present 97 feature films and 51 shorts within the span of the ten-day festival in Los Angeles.
