Finishing the season at KY's Actors Theatre of Louisville will be William Shakespeare's dark drama Othello, starring Delroy Lindo and featuring sets by Tony winner Ming Cho Lee.

Running May 6-31, the tragedy tells of a Moor who is aroused to murderous jealousy over his beloved wife Desdemona (Angela Reed) by a revenge-seeking lieutenant, Iago (V Craig Heidenreich). Also in the cast are Jonathan Bolt, William Cain, Robyn Hunt, David Lawyer, Fred Major, Bruce McKenzie, Reid Mihalko, Mark Mineart, Adale O'Brien, Mark Sawyer-Dailey, Mark Schulte, Tim True, Demetra Tseckares and Pete Webb.

Lindo received Tony and Drama Desk nominations for his work in Joe Turner's Come and Gone. Designer Lee, who won a Tony for K2, will offer a special lecture (free and open to the public) on his 40-year career, May 6, at ATL. The show officially opens May 7.

Helping design Othello are Marcia Dixcy Jory (costumes), Stephen Strawbridge (lighting) and Martin R. Desjardins (sound). Drew Fracher serves as fight director.
