Tony Nominee Sting Sings a Farewell to David Letterman | Playbill

News Tony Nominee Sting Sings a Farewell to David Letterman Late-night talk-show host (and Tony winner) James Corden found an unusual way to bid farewell to fellow host David Letterman, who taped his last show from the Ed Sullivan Theatre in the Broadway Theatre District May 20. Corden was joined in his tribute by 2015 Tony nominee Sting.

Sporting a bushy beard, Sting sat across Broadway from the Ed Sullivan Theatre and attempted to croon his hit "I'll Be Watching You," with repeated unwelcome help from Corden.

Sting's original score for The Last Ship is nominated for Best Score of a Musical in this year's Tony Awards.
