The Broadway Television Network (BTN) has announced that Tony Orlando will host the special 30-minute free preview teaser that will air immediately before the Sept. 10 pay-per-view broadcast of Smokey Joe's Cafe: The Songs of Leiber and Stoller. Orlando joined the Broadway cast of Smokey Joe's for two weeks in the summer of 1999. Numerous celebrities comprise the list of guest artists that performed in Smokey Joe's including Rick Springfield, Ben E. King, Pam Tillis, Lou Rawls, Leslie Gore, Gloria Gaynor and Gladys Knight.

"On the Aisle atSmokey Joe's Cafe" airs at 8:30 PM, Sept. 10. The BTN pay-pre-view special, a closing-night taped performance of Broadway's Smokey Joe's Cafe airs at 9 PM. Celebrity cast members will probably be tapped for the preview, though discussions are still under way. The teaser will include talk about the show and a possible live performance from the theatre district, perhaps Times Square itself.
