Tony Awards Tony Tickets Go on Sale to the Public Tickets to the 1997 Tony Awards ceremony at Radio City Music Hall will go on sale to the general public 10 AM (ET) Monday, May 5.

Tickets to the 1997 Tony Awards ceremony at Radio City Music Hall will go on sale to the general public 10 AM (ET) Monday, May 5. TicketMaster has set up a special number for the Tony tix: (212) 307-7171.

The awards ceremony will be held 7-11 PM June 1 at Radio City, and broadcast over PBS (8-9 PM, ET) and CBS-TV (9-11 PM, ET)

This will be the first time members of the general public will be admitted to the black tie event, which recognizes excellence in the Broadway theatre.

Tickets range $65 to $125, and are available for mezzanine through third mezzanine only. The orchestra will be reserved for nominees, press and folk associated with the productions.

A Radio City spokesperson said the tickets will be sold both at the box office and via TicketMaster.
