News Tony Winner Alan Menken Will Offer Benefit Concert at Merkin Hall Tony and Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken will take audiences on a journey through his songbook Feb. 28 at 7 PM at the Kaufman Center’s Merkin Hall.

Proceeds will benefit the Edna Y. Schwartz Scholarship Fund for young women to attend the Belvoir Terrace Arts Camp in the Berkshires, in Lenox, MA.

Menken will be joined by three Belvoir Terrace alumnae: Deborah Grausman, Emma Rosenthal and Nora Menken, who will each sing a Menken song, accompanied by Diane Marcus, camp director and Belvoir alumna.

The performance will include a Q&A with the artist and will be followed by a dessert reception.
