News Tony Winner Alice Ripley Releases New Podcast, "This Masquerade" Celebrated singing actress Alice Ripley, who won her Tony Award for her performance as bipolar mom Diana in the Pulitzer Prize-winning Next to Normal, has released the latest entry in her podcast series, which is entitled Sonic Ripley.

"Sonic Ripley will be a twice weekly podcast on Soundcloud featuring new and original music and spoken word poems," actress and musician Ripley previously told Playbill.com.

About her newest podcast, Ripley said, "George Benson's 'This Masquerade' is my favorite version of Leon Russell's blue gem. The drums are there to help me learn phrasing as a singer. My neighbors don't mind...not too much."

The Tony winner has also appeared on Broadway in Side Show, The Rocky Horror Show, James Joyce's The Dead, Sunset Boulevard and The Who's Tommy.
