News Tony Winner Bill Irwin to Host On Tap @ Joe's Pub As previously announced, an evening of tap — featuring artists who have appeared on Broadway in Bring in 'Da Noise, Bring in 'Da Funk; Black and Blue; and 42nd Street — will be presented at Joe's Pub Jan. 6, 2009.

Bill Irwin, who won a Tony Award for his performance in the revival of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, will host the 7 PM event, which is titled On Tap @ Joe's Pub. (Irwin will also return to Broadway later this season in the Roundabout's revival of Waiting for Godot.)

The Joe's Pub evening will boast the talents of Chloe Arnold, Brenda Bufalino, C3 Tap Co-operative, Ayodele Casel, Barbara Duffy & Company, Karida Griffith, Chikako Iwahori, Lisa La Touche, Carson Murphy, Claudia Rahardjanoto, Lynn Schwab and Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards.

Collectively these artists have performed in such film and television productions as "Idlewild," "Bojangles," "The Gregory Hines Show," "The Jamie Foxx Show," "Bamboozled" and "Tap."
