How you can book Broadway on the High Seas 8 and see these stars and more on the July 2018 adventure to the ultimate vacation destination.

After three new river cruises along Europe’s trifecta of scenic reservoirs—the Rhône, Rhine, and Danube Rivers—Playbill Travel will once again board the High Seas. Playbill ventures to the gorgeous country of Iceland, one of the hottest tourist destinations in the world, where passengers aboard Broadway on the High Seas 9 will enjoy an exclusively curated trip around the isle, exploring nature's most exquisite fjörds, geysers, volcanoes, and waterfalls of the Arctic Circle from July 3–10, 2018.

Aboard Ponant’s five-star expedition yacht Le Soléal, guests will enjoy the highest standards of luxury, safety, and ecologically sound cruising in the world’s most remote regions.

But of course, the trademark of the experience is the unmatched performances by Broadway’s greatest talents. Broadway on the High Seas 9 welcomes Broadway’s original Drama Desk-nominated Little Mermaid Sierra Boggess, Tony nominee Rob McClure, Tony nominee Jarrod Spector, and the returns of four-time Tony nominee Judy Kuhn and two-time Tony winner Christine Ebersole, along with musical direction by our master of ceremonies, Seth Rudetsky.

In addition to her role as Ariel on Broadway in Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Boggess’ bell-like soprano could be heard when she played Christine Daae in The Phantom of the Opera. Boggess also originated the role of Christine in Phantom’s sequel, Love Never Dies, in London’s West End. Most recently, she appeared on the Great White Way in It Shoulda Been You, starring Tyne Daly, and in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s School of Rock.

Jarrod Spector first bowed on Broadway as a youngster, replacing for Gavroche in the original production of Les Misérables. But since then, he has played Frankie Valli in the long-running smash hit Jersey Boys and received a Tony nomination for his portrayal of Barry Mann in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.

An oft-requested performer by past passengers, Rob McClure finally joins the Broadway on the High Seas family. A Theatre World Award winner, McClure currently stars as leading man Nick Bottom in the national tour of the hit musical Something Rotten!. He also graced the Broadway stage as Princeton/Rod in the Tony-winning Best Musical Avenue Q. On Broadway, he originated the roles of Jack Singer in Honeymoon in Vegas, Tim Allgood in the most recent revival of Noises Off, and the title character in Chaplin, for which he earned a Tony nomination.

In addition to these new performers, we are thrilled to welcome back four-time Tony nominee Judy Kuhn. Most recently on Broadway as Golde in Fiddler on the Roof, Kuhn received her fourth Tony nomination for her work as Helen Bechdel in the Tony-winning Best Musical Fun Home. She originated the role of Cosette in Les Misérables on Broadway—for which she earned her first Tony nomination—as well as Florence in Chess (her second Tony nomination) and Amalia Balash in the 1993 revival of She Loves Me (Tony nomination No. 3). She has also been nominated for three Drama Desk Awards for Les Miz, Rags, and Chess.

Two-time Tony winner (and four-time nominee overall) Christine Ebersole also climbs aboard the luxurious vessel. Ebersole earned yet another Tony nomination for her work as cosmetics mogul Elizabeth Arden opposite Patti LuPone in last season's War Paint. She won her first Tony Award for Dorothy Brock in the 2001 revival of 42nd Street, earned a nomination for Dinner at Eight, and won her second Tony as Little Edie in Grey Gardens, for which she also won the Drama Desk Award.

Of course, our fearless leader and music director Seth Rudetsky will be there to entertain with his musical talents and his unbeatable humor. His in-demand Chatterboxes with our stars will take guests behind the scenes of your favorite Broadway shows with stories to which only those truly in-the-know are privy.

Though each performer creates an intimate cabaret solo show for the evenings, the daytime will be spent getting to know our stars up close and personally. Where else can you vacation with the stars but with Playbill Travel?
