Set in New York, "Cashmere Mafia" centers on "four ambitious, sexy women who have been best friends since business school," according to show notes. Frances O'Connor (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof — London), Lucy Liu ("Chicago"), Julian Ovenden (Butley) and Peter Hermann (Talk Radio) star with Miranda Otto and Bonnie Somerville.
In an episode titled "Dangerous Liaisons," Ebersole stars as cosmetics giant Lily Parrish. Also scheduled to appear are stage veterans Bill Sage (Aunt Dan and Lemon), Jason Antoon (Contact), Kevin Kilner (Dinner with Friends), Kate Levering (42nd Street), Addison Timlin (Gypsy), Kate Guyton (Cyrano de Bergerac), David Ross, Griffin Matthews and Purva Bedi (The Rise of Dorothy Hale).
Tom Everett Scott (The Little Dog Laughed), who appeared in the pilot, returns in a guest role Jan. 23. Jenn Colella (Urban Cowboy), John Cunningham (Amour), Jodi Long (Flower Drum Song), Mary Testa (Xanadu), Randall Duk Kim (Flower Drum Song), Ilana Levine (Wrong Mountain) and Noah Weisberg will also appear in that episode.
