In an evening constructed by John Lahr and directed by George C. Wolfe, Stritch delves into stories spanning her entire career. Performing many of the songs she did in such Broadway stagings as Pal Joey, Follies and Company, the actress belts out "Broadway Baby," "But Not for Me," "I've Been to a Marvelous Party," "There's No Business like Show Business," "I'm Still Here!" and her signature song "The Ladies Who Lunch."

The stageshow opened at New York City's Public Theatre Nov. 7, 2001, before transferring to Broadway's Neil Simon Theatre Feb. 21, 2002. The production went on to win the Tony Award for Best Special Theatrical Event.
