News Tony Winner Elaine Stritch Will Be An Original Woman Tony Award winner Elaine Stritch plans to launch a new lecture tour.

Variety reports that Stritch will offer Elaine Stritch, An Original Woman, at venues around the country. No additional information was provided. The legendary Stritch, the industry paper reports, may also team with Ben Gazzara for a production of Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf. The actress will also be seen on the small screen this May when HBO airs her one-woman show Elaine Stritch At Liberty.

Stritch, whose triumphant return to Broadway in Elaine Stritch At Liberty was greeted with raves from the critics, also received a Tony Award for that performance. Her many theatre credits include Pal Joey, Sail Away, Company, Bus Stop, Show Boat and a Tony-nominated turn in Edward Albee's A Delicate Balance. Elaine Stritch At Liberty is available from DRG Records and on DVD from Image Entertainment.
