News Tony Winner Hugh Jackman Set for Upcoming "X-Men" Film, "Days of Future Past" Tony Award winner Hugh Jackman, who stars in the film adaptation of Les Misérables, will reprise his performance as Wolverine in the upcoming "X-Men" film entitled "Days of Future Past," according to producer and director Bryan Singer.

"I would officially like to welcome @RealHughJackman to the cast of #Xmen Days of Future Past," tweeted Singer, who has also produced and directed previous "X-Men" films. "Very excited! More to come…"

Jackman joins Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen, who are also reprising the roles they originated in the first "X-Men."

Jackman received a Special Tony Award in 2012 and took home the Tony in 2004 for his performance in The Boy From Oz. He has also been seen on Broadway in A Steady Rain and his solo show Back on Broadway.
