News Tony Winner James Monroe Iglehart Will Be Part of Project Shaw Reading Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw, which is under the leadership of artistic director David Staller, will continue Dec. 21 at 7 PM with a reading of Shaw's The Shewing-Up of Blanco Posnet at Symphony Space’s Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre.

Written in 1909, The Shewing-Up of Blanco Posnet, according to press notes, is Shaw's "rollicking tale of the Old American Wild West. This rarely seen mystery/comedy of an outsider accused of being a horse thief and is on the verge of being strung up when a mysterious woman appears."

The evening will feature William DeMeritt (Blanco Posnet), Tony winner James Monroe Iglehart (Elder Daniels), Everett Quinton (Nestor), Andrea Dora (Babsy), Mia Katigbak (Hannah), Marylee Martin Terrano (Jessie), Alex Coelho (Strapper Kemp), Mirirai Sithole (Feemy Evans), Raphael Nash Thompson (Sheriff Kemp), Sheria Irving (The Woman), Ken Glickfeld (Waggoner Jo), James Cleveland (The Fiddler) and Aaron Lee Battle as the Narrator.

In a statement artistic director Staller said, "We’re celebrating our season finale with a holiday bash. TCM’s Robert Osborne will host this post-performance party that will feature music, dancing, food, and the opportunity to mingle with the cast."

Now celebrating its 10th year, Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw made history in December 2009 as the first company ever to present performances of every one of Shaw's 65 plays (including full-length works, one-acts and sketches).
