News Tony Winner John Cullum Sets Off-Broadway Return in Christmas Classic John Cullum, whose career on Broadway spans 60 years, five Tony nominations and two wins, will star in the Off-Broadway staging of A Child's Christmas in Wales from Irish Repertory Theatre. Dylan Thomas' classic holiday tale is adapted and directed by IRT's artistic director Charlotte Moore.

Performances are set to begin Nov. 24, running through Jan. 3, 2016, at the DR2 Theatre in Union Square. An official opening night is slated for Dec.1. In A Child's Christmas in Wales, a snowy Christmas day is seen through the eyes of a child, featuring haunting ghost stories, frosted treats and puddings, and adventures in the city park.

The creative team will include musical direction by Mark Hartman, costume design by David Toser and lighting design by Michael Gottlieb. The production stage manager is Pamela Brusoski and the ASM is April Kline. Further casting will be announced shortly.

Tickets, $70, are now on sale through the Irish Rep box office at (212) 727-2737 or online at Irishrep.org. The DR2 Theatre is located at 103 East 15th St. in Union Square.
