Lenox, according to a spokesperson for the actress, will play a waitress opposite Norah Jones in the Christal Films production, which will be directed by Wong Kar Wai. "My Blueberry Nights" is scheduled to film in Lenox' hometown of Memphis; the motion picture, according to press notes, tells the story of "a young woman who travels across America to find the true meaning of love, and encounters offbeat characters along the way." The busy Lenox will also be seen in Craig Brewer's "Black Snake Moan." That film, which stars Samuel L. Jackson, will be released by Paramount Classics.

For her performance as Mrs. Muller in Doubt, Adriane Lenox received the Tony, Drama Desk and Lucille Lortel Awards. Her other Broadway credits include Ain't Misbehavin', Dreamgirls, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Kiss Me, Kate. She received an Obie Award and an Audelco Award for her work Off-Broadway in Dinah Was, and was also seen Off Broadway in Miss Evers Boys, Cavedweller, Spunk, The America Play, The Venus Hottentot and Beehive.
