News Tony Winner Lillias White Offers a Valentine of a Concert Tony Award winner Lillias White, back on Broadway in the new musical Fela!, offers a Valentine's Day concert Feb. 14 at the Iridium Jazz Club in Manhattan.

The midnight concert is "all about love – the good, the bad and the ugly," according to press notes. White will be backed by a six-piece band that includes Miles Dalto on piano and Patience Higgins on saxophone and flute.

White, who starred in the award-winning revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, garnered a Tony Award for her work in Cy Coleman's The Life. She also starred on Broadway in Barnum and Once on This Island and as Effie in the revival of Dreamgirls. White has also appeared in the Actors' Fund of America's benefit concerts of Dreamgirls, Funny Girl and Hair and was part of the cast of the City Center Encores! production of Purlie.
