News Tony Winner Murphy Lands Role on TV's "Trust Me" Two-time Tony Award winner Donna Murphy, most recently on Broadway in the new musical Lovemusik, will be seen on the small screen later this year.

Variety reports that the award-winning actress has landed a recurring role on the new TNT series "Trust Me," which debuts Jan. 26 at 10 PM ET.

The new series, from the creators of "The Closer" and "Nip/Tuck," centers on "two best friends working as creative partners at a top-ranked Chicago ad agency," according to TNT. The series co-stars Eric McCormack ("Will & Grace," The Music Man) and Tom Cavanagh ("Ed"). Also featured are Monica Potter ("Boston Legal"), Griffin Dunne ("Law & Order: Criminal Intent"), Sarah Clarke ("24"), Mike Damus ("Lost in Yonkers") and Geoffrey Arend ("Garden State").

Donna Murphy received Tony Awards for her performances in Stephen Sondheim's Passion and the revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein's The King and I. Her other Broadway credits include Lovemusik, Wonderful Town, They're Playing Our Song, The Human Comedy and The Mystery of Edwin Drood.
