News Tony Winner Patina Miller Will Make Film Debut in "The Hunger Games" Series Patina Miller, who received the 2013 Tony Award for her performance as the Leading Playing in the Tony-winning revival of Pippin, will make her feature film debut in "The Hunger Games: Mokingjay," according to Deadline.com.

"Mockingjay," which will be split into two parts, will also feature Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Natalie Dormer, Lily Rabe, Julianne Moore, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Evan Ross and Stef Dawson.

Following the news, Miller tweeted, "So its official guys!!! i will be playing Commander Paylor in ‪@TheHungerGames: Mockingjay 1&2!! So incredibly grateful and so excited !"

Miller will play Commander Paylor, the rebel commander who meets Katniss (Lawrence) in District 8. "Mockingjay" is the third installment in the "Hunger Games" series. "Catching Fire," the second in the series, will be released in theatres Nov. 22.

Miller was also Tony-nominated for her performance in Sister Act and appeared in the Shakespeare in the Park production of Hair.
